I was unable to incorporate technology projects in my classroom due to limited technology and due to the fact that I had students in high-poverty (no access to wifi at home). However, I uploaded each of the lessons I used for my clinical placement and talked about learning projects I would have done if my students had more access to technology.
Unit Essential Questions: What influenced the movement of people, places, and ideas to the New World? What are the cause and effect relationships of the Age of Exploration?
Learning Project (1):
During this lesson, I taught students about the Late Middle Ages and the Renaissance Era. I want students to create a multimedia poster of the Renaissance and how it allowed Europe to "bounce" out of the Middle Ages and into the Modern Age. If students want they can focus on one or all three reasons that happened during the Renaissance. My example is below:
Learning Projects (2):
Students are learning about the causes of European exploration during this unit. Here, I want students to either create a three-fold brochure or a newsletter pretending they were Europeans wanting to explore. They should focus on Europeans three main motives: God, Gold, and Glory. My two examples are below:
Learning Projects (3):
This lesson was on the technology that helped Europeans to Explore. I want students to create a poster on google draw demonstrating their knowledge of one of the technologies. Here I would want them to list the sentence from the text, a definition, their own sentence, and a picture of the tool.
The second project I would have them do is homework for the next day. I would want students to research an explorer and either creat a instagram account (using google draw) or a word cloud for the European explorer they decided to research.

Learning Projects (2):
During this lesson, students will learn about Columbus and the Columbian Exchange. I want students to either create a 1 minute audio podcast of Columbus and the Columbian Exchange or an infographic on the subject. I want them also to address a Native American perspective in either project.
Learning Projects (2):
I want students to either create a prezi or a regular powerpoint on the effects of European Exploration and present it to their classmates. I would like them to discuss at least one effect whether it was imperialism over natives, the treaty of tordesillas (conflicts between European nations), the Fur Trade, or the French and Indian War. I included all of the topics in my examples.
